Contest Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
   From time to time, Potters Farm & Nursery Inc. (“the Sponsor”) may hold promotional contests (“the Contest”). Each Contest is governed by the following general rules unless otherwise stated in the specific contest announcement.

2. ELIGIBILITY
   To be eligible to win, a person must:
   (a) be a resident of Canada (excluding Québec);
   (b) have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence; and
   (c) not be an employee, representative, or agent of the Sponsor, its affiliates, or advertising and promotional agencies.

Contests may be conducted through the Sponsor’s official social media accounts on Meta platforms (Facebook and/or Instagram). Each Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media company (“Social Media Companies”). By participating, entrants completely release the Social Media Companies from all liability in relation to the Contest. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor, not to the Social Media Companies. Entrants must comply with the terms of use of any applicable Social Media Company.

3. HOW TO ENTER
   No purchase is necessary to enter. Entry requirements will be outlined in the specific contest post on the Sponsor’s official Meta account(s). By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules and any additional rules provided in the contest announcement.
   Entries that are incomplete, irregular, submitted through illicit means, or that do not comply with these Contest Rules may be disqualified at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

4. PRIZES
   Prizes will vary by contest and will be described in the applicable contest announcement.
   Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or refundable. No substitutions are permitted, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, including a cash equivalent.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
   Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest period, unless otherwise stated. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
   The selected entrant will be contacted via the platform used for entry (e.g., Instagram Direct Message). Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
   (i) confirm compliance with these Contest Rules;
   (ii) accept the prize as awarded; and
   (iii) successfully answer a skill-testing question (if required by law).

If the selected entrant fails to respond within the time specified by the Sponsor, declines the prize, or fails to meet the contest conditions, an alternate winner may be selected at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS
   By entering, participants agree to abide by these Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
   The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify any Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factors beyond its control compromise the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest.
   By participating and accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, city of residence, and photograph or entry for publicity purposes by the Sponsor without further notice or compensation, where permitted by law.
   The Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury, including indirect or consequential damages, arising from participation in any Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

7. PRIVACY
   Personal information collected for the purposes of the Contest will be used solely for contest administration and in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. For more information, please refer to the Potters Privacy Policy available on our website.
