One chapter ends and a new one begins…
After 31 years the owners of Potters on 72nd wish to take things a bit easier. (wah wah… poor babies) It’s been one hecka’ of a run, but its time to let the younger people take over our 72nd Ave store and Heaven knows they’re ready! (They’ve been running it their way for years!!)
Effective September 1st the Potters store on 72nd Avenue will become COUGAR CREEK GARDEN CENTRE. Store Managers Chris Pershick and Scott Pasternak have purchased the business and are pleased to confirm that all the friendly, familiar faces will remain. They plan to carry on with farm fresh products at great prices along with exceptional customer service. All things going well, they also plan to re-open the HOUSE OF HORRORS this October. And as usual, a great selection Christmas Trees will arrive a bit later this year.
We wish them great success in the exciting adventure that lies ahead. Meanwhile the 28,000 sq ft Potters on 192nd Street will continue to be a quirky, fun filled, and totally unique Potters store forever! (unless the boss gets hit by a bus that is.)
The store is closing Sept 1 in order to facilitate the change-over and to prepare for a HOUSE OF HORRORS opening in October.
For those great people who have supported Potters at that location for so many years, especially those who shopped on rainy days, we thank you so very much. Please expect the same great service once the new owners get up and going. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
